Developing a solar PV project alongside an operational wind farm at the 85MW facility will add green capacity to the grid by taking advantage of pre-existing infrastructure to generate power more consistently, mitigating aspects of intermittency.
Exus’ data-driven, technology-agnostic BlueSky management system will provide full oversight of solar and wind performance to identify and mitigate issues before they occur, enhancing asset productivity and transparency in reporting.
Carlos Tello Garcia, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Exus, said: “Hybrid solar and wind projects represent a significant opportunity to optimise the grid. This scheme represents the next step in Portuguese renewable energy development, and we are proud to be at the forefront of innovation in the sector.”
